| Program Partners Reports 98% Clearance and More than 200 Station Affiliates for Critically Acclaimed Crime Drama Los Angeles, CA - May 25, 2006 - As one "Da Vinci" sees success at the box office, another is creating a happy buzz among television audiences. Da Vinci's Inquest, the award-winning syndicated crime drama distributed in the U.S. by Program Partners, is heading into its second year with clearances in 98% of the country and more than 200 station affiliates, including all major markets. The series' growing popularity and solid ratings have provided the driving force behind its continuation. "Da Vinci's Inquest has done well for us, and we're excited about heading into a second year," said Bill Butler, VP, Programming & Promotion for Sinclair Broadcast Group. "The show has really performed beyond our expectations." Earning a season-to-date high of 2.1/2.2% AA/GAA and a season average of 1.8/2.0% AA/GAA in its first year in U.S. syndication, Da Vinci's Inquest consistently ranked among other syndicated series with built-in brand recognition, such as Alias, Smallville and 24. Additionally, the series has reached #1 in multiple metered markets on a weekly basis throughout its debut year. "As procedural dramas continued to experience an upswing among television audiences, we knew Da Vinci's Inquest had solid potential," said Josh Raphaelson of Program Partners. "Ultimately, this series not only met but exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to seeing its continued success." Produced by Haddock Entertainment and Barna-Alper Productions, Da Vinci's Inquest is an award-winning prime-time procedural drama in the mold of the CSI and Law and Order franchises and is one of the most honored series in the history of Canadian television. Dominic Da Vinci (Nicholas Campbell) is the controversial coroner who-with the help of a compelling ensemble cast of forensic investigators, pathologists and homicide detectives-"speaks for the dead to protect the living." This fall, Program Partners will provide station affiliates with a triple-punch of procedural drama bliss when Da Vinci's Inquest is joined by the new "Crime Watch" offering of Cold Squad and Stone Undercover, all of which are being marketed as an outgrowth of the company's worldwide distribution agreement with Thunderbird Films.
