| Los Angeles, CA --- August 22, 2007 --- Program Partners and Merv Griffin Entertainment (MGE) have announced major market and group clearances for Merv Griffin's Crosswords, bringing the game show past the 90% U.S. clearance mark for the 2007-08 season. Additionally, the half-hour syndicated strip---set to premiere September 10, 2007---is now cleared in more than 160 markets including all 40 of the Top 40 markets and 95 of the Top 100 markets. The Top 40 markets carrying Merv Griffin's Crosswords this fall now include New York (WNBC), Los Angeles (KNBC), Chicago (WMAQ), Philadelphia (KYW), San Francisco (KNTV), Dallas (KXAS), Boston (WHDH), Washington DC (WJLA), Atlanta (WXIA/WATL), Houston (KRIV/KTXH), Detroit (WDIV), Tampa (WFTS), Phoenix (KTVK/KASW), Seattle (KING/KONG), Minneapolis (KSTP/KSTC), Miami (WTVJ), Cleveland (WOIO/WUAB), Denver (KUSA/KTVD), Orlando (WFTV/WRDQ), Sacramento (KTXL), St Louis (KPLR), Pittsburgh (WPXI), Portland (KGW), Baltimore (WBAL), Indianapolis (WTTV/WXIN), Charlotte (WCNC), San Diego (KGTV), Hartford-New Haven (WTIC/WTXX), Raleigh-Durham (WLFL/WRDC), Nashville (WZTV/WUXP), Kansas City (KSHB/KMCI), Columbus (WSFJ), Cincinnati (WKRC/EKRC), Milwaukee (WDJT/WMLW), Salt Lake City (KTVX/KUCW), Greenville-Spartanburg (WLOS/WMYA), San Antonio (KENS/KCWX), West Palm Beach (WFLX), Grand Rapids (WWMT/EWMT), and Birmingham (WTTO).
